The 49th International Eucharistic Congress
in Quebec City, in the province of Quebec (Canada)
from June 15 to 22, 2008
Members of the Comunità Cenacolo will be there from June 18th to 22nd
2008 marks the 400th anniversary of the founding of Quebec City, the first permanent French settlement in North America and the oldest diocese in North America, apart from Mexico. The Eucharistic Congress is one of the festivities during this event but there will be a lot of others festivities and special events in 2008 in Québec City
The Comunità Cenacolo will participate in various activities :

The parents and friends of the Cenacolo in Quebec and in Canada will be glad to welcome you in the Province of Québec for this big international event. You can register for all the week with your diocese (web site www.cei2008.ca ) or with the Cenacolo group ( 450-431-7755 or christiane.lemaire@sympatico.ca ). You can also just come for half of the week or for the last weekend without paying the fees of the registration. You will not have access to all the activities but you will be able to see a lot of big manifestations open to the general public.
For the lodging you can reserved on the web site for a comfortable room or be with us. We reserved a place for the group Cenacolo, the members but also families and friends, for all the week, from June the 15th to the 22th in St-Augustin de Desmaures, in front of the St-Laurent River, at the entrance of Québec City. We have from 35 to 120 places (including only 10 single rooms for important, handicapped or old people). Everybody else will sleep in 2 dormitories and in camping.
